bay city rollers

Standard

I went to a concert last night. The Bay City Rollers, if you can believe it! The only current member of the band who was in there in the 70s was Les McKeown, but the music was a lot of fun to listen to. And the crowd! When I bought the tickets a couple of weeks ago, I was surprised to get front row seats. I thought the theatre might be a little empty. But no, there was a large audience, most of whom were happy to sing along and get up and wave their arms and boogie a bit!

This is Les, lounging at the front of the stage, only an arm’s length away from me. A couple of women seized the opportunity to run up and get their photo taken with him.

Ironically, being in the front row with the lights glaring at you is not the best position for photos.

I was 13 when they were big in 1975! Ah, memories. ;o)
