Brava

Standard

I mentioned in my last post how I’d placed this large order from Knitpicks for Brava Worsted some time ago. Customer service helpfully told me it was August 2012 so I was able to look up my blog archive for September and see my post. This is what I received then…

So now I can compare it to my photo from a couple of days ago and see what I’ve used.

This stash (for it can only be called that) has kept me going for 16 months (with a little extra yarn from the LYS) and will keep me going for a lot longer. As you can see, I still have all the Sienna, though it has been partially knitted and frogged. The Currant, of which I also had ten balls, is down because I joined a Mystery KAL and ended up with fingerless mitts, which matched a scarf that I had machine-knitted for my oldest son. Many small projects have been completed, and it has been great to have this range of colours on hand in a good basic yarn.

And yesterday, I discovered that there are another five new colours, bringing it up to a total of 50 shades in the range. I know what my Christmas money is itching to be spent on!
