Yesterday, while Lacy Stole #651 was blocking, I cast on another project. Rather than knit another stole exactly the same, I decided on Arroyo (Ravelry link here). It’s a pretty shawl, sort of a crescent shape like Le Weekend (that links to my project page). Arroyo has a 34 row lace pattern followed by garter stitch and short rows, so very similar in construction to Le Weekend too. There are 23 pattern repeats, nice short ten-stitch repeats, so it’s very easy to memorise and complete most of the row without looking at the chart.
I’m up to row 12, so that’s more than one third of the way through the lace section in one evening. My knitting mojo has returned!
This is baeutiful, my knitting is so far off this standard, in awe x
