Owl granny bag

This pattern is very cute.

It’s a pattern and very clear tutorial for an owl granny square. I used Knitpicks Brava Worsted in various colours and a 4.5mm hook. It was a little fiddly, and having made one I didn’t really have the inclination to make a lot of them. Maybe one day I will have the patience and motivation, but not right now. So I crocheted a basic granny in the same size and made a little bag.

I joined the two squares together on three sides with single crochet, chained a handle, then reverse sc (crab stitch) around the top edge. My owl is a teensy but wonky but I think that just adds to the quirkiness…right?

I added a lining and this is going in my shop inventory.

Edited to add: another Ravellenic Games project, this one has been entered into Bag jump, Stash skeleton and Nordic colourwork combined. 🙂
