I was at a friend’s house for a cuppa yesterday and experimented with these mitts. They are the easiest kind, a rectangle of crochet partially seamed to allow for a thumbhole. I used a 10mm hook and single crochet, which made for a very soft and chunky result. Thanks to the self-striping yarn they look like two different pairs, depending on which way you wear them.
