This is a chunkier version of my Crochet hat recipe in the sidebar, also known as Adjustable crochet hat on Ravelry.

This one used a bigger hook (8mm) and three strands of Willow Wash (dark green, light green, and a changing third colour which was great for finishing up small amounts of random other shades.

The receptionist at my chiro’s office was looking at this quite covetously when I was crocheting while sitting and waiting for my son yesterday! Maybe I’ll offer it to her next week.
