Good evening

Standard

image image imageFinally flopped on the couch at the end of the day to write a quick post and weave in the ends on the Vivid hat.

This evening Tai Chi Man and I went downtown to see what was going on. The event was Arts on the Avenue and featured a lot of artists of all persuasions, including felters, spinners and weavers, cartoonists, poets, jewellery makers and painters. My spell check doesn’t like felters – what I mean is, knitters of wool who felt.

Ds1 met us as he lives nearby and after walking the block of booths we stopped at a coffee shop. Hmmm, would have been more interesting to have some photos of the crafts we saw.

We did stop in at the local bookstore and I found a lovely colouring book (for grownups, of course). I’ve been meaning to get something like this for a while now. So I have rooted out the pencil crayons from their dusty drawer and will look forward to sharpening them and putting them to good use.

At the top of this post is the book plus a couple of photos of the inside.

Pretty, huh?
