I was in such a rush to post last night that I forgot about the specs on the cowl. I used one ball of Red Heart With Love in Pewter. I got gauge with a 5mm hook as per the pattern.

This yarn comes in big skeins, almost 200 grams/7oz. I used about 120 grams, so if you buy smaller 100 gram balls you’ll need two.

I would use this yarn again. It’s nice to work with and, rather conveniently, available at the store where I work!
