Well, isn’t it a lovely Tuesday. Sunny and warm again, but not too warm. We had a nice rain shower last night which I won’t complain about, as even though my laundry got wet, my garden really needed the moisture.

My paycheque is going to be small this week. Three shifts were scheduled – Sunday I only worked two hours because the store was quiet, today I did two and a half. I expect Friday to be busy though, as there’s a big sale on.

The photo shows the Colorful Stripey Fingerless Mitts in progress although my Ravelry project page is entitled Less Colorful Stripey Fingerless Mitts because these are going to be all one colour. This is Stylecraft Special Aran in Denim.

The WIP is artfully (!) arranged on my new laptop. This is the first time I’ve owned a Windows computer so it’s going to take a bit of getting used to. I’m very much a Mac snob and I’m glad I had ds3 there to help me get things started yesterday. No doubt ds1 will want to take a look when he is next at home and can give me advice on different stuff.

So far I’m keeping it simple with everything that I use most on tabs in my browser – gmail, Ravelry, WordPress, Facebook – but I have yet to fix up receiving emails on my shaw account.
