As I dislike the American spelling of ‘colour,’ my Ravelry project page is entitled ‘Colourful Coin Purse!’

The crocheting is just two easy circles; the zipper part is a little trickier as you are sewing it to a curved edge. The blue zipper is longer than the pattern suggests, but I had it lying around and didn’t want to buy a new one.

This project used eight of the colours of Stylecraft Classique Cotton DK and a 3.5mm hook, plus a few dollar store wooden beads. It’s quite small – 5″ in diameter – crochet hook and thread spool for scale.

My stitching isn’t very even when viewed from the underside of the zipper so I suggest you don’t look too closely!

Next crochet session, I really must get cracking on the ripple blanket.
