Tao Part 2

Standard

“This let-go will happen if you can do one thing: stop clinging to knowledge, stop clinging to philosophies, stop clinging to doctrines, dogmas.”

Osho tells us that spending all our time studying, acquiring knowledge, amassing facts, is a way of avoiding experiencing life.  He says we should be living our lives, being adventurous (go ahead, get messy, make mistakes)!

He says that insecurity is good, being individual is good.  If everything is safe and predictable, then we are not learning, we are not living.  There is no need to follow anyone else’s idea of truth, because we can, and should, discover our own.

It is incredibly freeing to allow yourself to find your own truth without feeling that you have to conform to a specific label or religion.
